We are delighted to announce Sarah King will be joining us for Tech on Toast this April!
Come along before work to get a free breakfast, to hear some of Nottingham's brightest talk about their companies and their projects and to socialise with the other members of the local tech community.
We'll be serving a range of breakfast options in a relaxed environment and all are welcome, regardless of technical background.
And what's more - Accelerate Places are offering 10 free desk spaces to Tech on Toast guests! Located on the first floor, they'll be available from 9am to 5pm on the day.
What’s on this month?
April’s Tech on Toast is designed to kick-start conversation and give you some tangible ideas to take away.
Demystifying Design Thinking
by Sarah King
Design Thinking is a creative problem solving methodology originally developed in the 1960s that focuses on collaborative, human-centred design. Whilst this approach is making waves across the Atlantic, it's less common in the UK despite having the potential to make a huge impact on the way we innovate.
Sarah will discuss where and how it all started, beginning with the Godfathers of Design Thinking, the Kelley brothers; explaining why Design Thinking matters in Nottingham, and what you can do to get started.
