THE NEW MICROSOFT

Do you sit in shame in your office using Windows 10 while your cooler colleagues have Mac Books? Is the Death by PowerPoint the first thing that comes to mind when someone asks you to write a presentation? Is Bing something that you associate with a White Christmas and Edge something on your desk?
During his talk Paul is hoping to give everyone a fresh perspective on Microsoft as a leading tech company and development evangelist whilst avoiding the Fan Boy tag.
ABOUT PAUL
Paul is Head of Development at Esendex, a leading tech company in Nottingham specialising in business messaging. Paul's experience in tech goes all the way back to MS-DOS 6.21 and through every version of Windows (including Windows ME, the forgotten Windows). Paul has led development teams in both the public and private sector for many years and his experience includes Microsoft, Linux and Apple technologies.
In his personal life he's an Apple fan boy and you'll have to take his Apple Watch from the wrist of his dead body. In work he can bash, PowerShell and code but spends more time Power Pointing now days. Paul can talk all things Microsoft and wants to help lift the bad reputation the company has accumulated in its 42 year history.
THE VENUE
Tech on Toast is held at the awesome Accelerate Places on Wollaton Street, near the Theatre Royal in Nottingham City Centre. With a top-notch cafe and amphitheatre style seating; it’s the perfect venue in which to spend your morning.
WHEN
This event starts from 0730am on Wednesday 26th July - after that, it’s the fourth Wednesday of every month. We’ll see you there!
