Free and Open Source Software - what is it and why should we care?

We use different software every day in our personal and work lives, from laptops, phones and search engines to light bulbs. So what if you wanted to have a look at how it works or make a copy for a friend, extend the functionality or stop it sharing your data? Should you be allowed to?

In this talk, I'll be explaining what Free and Open Source software is and what the differences are to help answer these questions.
